Mission Statement:

His Daughters’ Safe Place is a faith-based, Christ-centered maternity shelter in Delaware that mends the heart of misguided pregnant women between the ages of 18-35. Our 24 month transitional home provides access to life fundamentals such as teaching financial stability, parenting classes, budgeting courses, mother support groups and more.

Vision Statement:

His Daughters’ Safe Place is the first transitional home in Delaware that caters to mothers within a two-year program. Our dedicated team of professionals and mentors aim to break the stereotype and have women exit with stability, security, and success.

CORE SERVICES & PROGRAM DESIGN

1. Partner with various institutions and government agencies to provide sources for pregnant teens and adult women.

2. Develop a mentorship program to teach life skills and mental health practices and more.

3. Educate pregnant teens and women about the importance of education, preventative care, self care, mental health and child bonding.

- Monthly Faith-Based Huddle: Monthly gatherings featuring prayer, Bible study, mentorship, encouragement, and community building.

- Housing Model: Up to 6 pregnant mothers (plus 1 child each) in a Christ-centered home.

- Life Skills & Wellness:

Budgeting, healthy credit building, savings plans
Parenting classes, mother-child bonding, breastfeeding and nutrition workshops
Cooking classes, interview prep
Mental health/counseling, trauma healing

- Education & Career Pathways:

Partnerships with Delaware colleges for scholarships (1-2 or 2–4 year programs)
Career coaching, , resume creation, job placement support, entrepreneurship workshops with visiting local business owners
