His Daughter's Safe Place was created from a journey of hardship, healing, and unwavering faith. What began as a season of homelessness and uncertainty has become a calling to build a place of hope, restoration, and renewed purpose for pregnant women.
In 2013, our founder experienced firsthand what it meant to face pregnancy without stability, security, or support. With nowhere to go, she sought shelter far from her family, learning through pain what every mother deserves support, guidance, and hope. Years later, that experience became the foundation of His Daughters' Safe Place.
Today, His Daughter's Safe Place is a Christ-centered maternity shelter in Delaware dedicated to empowering pregnant women through compassion, structure, and faith. Our 24-month transitional living program provides safe housing, life-skills training, financial literacy, parenting education, emotional support, and spiritual guidance. Every service is designed to help mothers leave with stability, security, and success.
We believe that no woman’s past defines her future. Every missing piece from our founder’s journey has become a building block in ours creating a home where mothers are supported, strengthened, and reminded of their worth.
At His Daughter's Safe Place, we do more than provide shelter. We walk alongside women as they rebuild their confidence, discover their purpose, and prepare for independent living. Through mentorship, community, and faith-based care, we help mothers write new beginnings for themselves and their children.
Our mission is simple but powerful: to be the safe place for others that we once needed ourselves.

CORE SERVICES & PROGRAM DESIGN
1. Partner with various institutions and government agencies to provide sources for pregnant teens and adult women.
2. Develop a mentorship program to teach life skills and mental health practices and more.
3. Educate pregnant teens and women about the importance of education, preventative care, self care, mental health and child bonding.
- Monthly Faith-Based Huddle: Monthly gatherings featuring prayer, Bible study, mentorship, encouragement, and community building.
- Housing Model: Up to 6 pregnant mothers (plus 1 child each) in a Christ-centered home.
